Jawatan:

1. SENIOR EXECUTIVE
AMANAHRAYA TRUSTEES BERHAD (COMPLIANCE DEPARTMENT)


Objectives Of Position:
  • Assist the Head of Compliance Department in reviewing the operations of the Company as a trustee to Collective Investment Schemes, Corporate Bonds, Private Retirement Schemes and Real Estate Investment Trusts.
  • Assist the Head of Department (HOD) in ensuring compliance of the Company with the relevant laws and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities of Position:
  • Assist in matters relating to Information Technology Compliance to ensure in line with the industry standards and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to the assessment and development related to Information Technology Compliance processes and controls.
  • Assist in cyber security issue of the Company including ensuring proper reporting, follow-up and resolution of the cyber incident.
  • Prepare and review draft trustee reports, income distribution, UTF Investment Returns, PRS Returns, REIT Return, Monthly Compliance reports, Non-compliance reports, Proposal Papers, Application Forms, Appointment Letters and Correspondence Letters for HOD’s approval.
  • Perform monthly compliance monitoring on the operations of the Company and review report of the compliance monitoring.
  • Perform trustee visit to Unit Trust Management Companies, PRS Provider office and review the operations in relation to procedures and processes in the daily valuation units. The outcome of the visit will form part of the trustee’s report issued by AmanahRaya Trustees Berhad.
  • Assist in executing the requirements provisions of the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act and Malaysian Anti- Corruption Commission Act and any other applicable laws.
  • Assisting the HOD in internal audit and risk related matters for the Company.
  • Attend meetings/ briefings with any related parties e.g. Unit Trust Management Company, Fund Manager, Issuers, Bank Negara Malaysia, Securities Commission solicitors and/or financial institutions.

Qualification / Experience:
  • Degree in Information Technology/Business/other related disciplines from university/college and/or professional qualification recognized by Government of Malaysia.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in capital market industry or related field.

Professional Skills/knowledge
  • Knowledgeable and have high level of interest in capital market industry.
  • Well versed with the Capital Markets and Services Act, Securities Commission Act & Guidelines and Bursa Malaysia Rule.
  • A person that possesses good interpersonal skill and able to convincingly communicate with all levels of people.
  • A person that able to use analytical skill in problem solving, decision making and finding for viable solution.
  • A person that are meticulous, organized and detail oriented.

Sejarah

Sejarah berkembangnya AIM berkait rapat dengan penubuhan Bank Grameen. Sejarah bermulanya Bank Grameen adalah apabila Dr Muhammad Yunus, Pensyarah Ekonomi di Universiti Chittagong Bangladesh menjalankan kajian pada tahun 1976 mengenai golongan miskin yang jarang melibatkan diri dalam dunia perbankan.

Daripada kajiannya mendapati golongan miskin ini tidak berupaya untuk meningkatkan taraf hidup mereka adalah kerana tidak mempunyai modal yang mencukupi. Oleh itu, Prof. Yunus mencadangkan bahawa jika golongan miskin ini diberi suntikan modal pada masa dan situasi yang betul pasti akan dapat membina sebuah pembangunan yang pesat.
