Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 6-8 years in IT infrastructure implementation, system support, maintenance, and IT Disaster Recovery (ITDR) planning and execution.
- Networking & Security: Extensive knowledge in managing LAN/WAN networks, wireless technologies, firewalls, and cybersecurity tools. Proven ability to secure and optimize enterprise networks.
- Technology Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Extreme Networks, Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure, VMware, and Veeam Backup, integrating these into complex IT ecosystems.
- Policy & Compliance: Experience developing and enforcing IT and Information Security policies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry standards.
- Vendor Management: Skilled in sourcing, negotiating, and managing relationships with technology vendors.
- Virtualization: Expertise in virtualization technologies like VMware and Nutanix, including the deployment and optimization of virtual environments.
- Disaster Recovery & Backup: Strong knowledge of ITDR strategies, replication processes, and backup solutions, especially Veeam Backup, ensuring data integrity and business continuity.
- Technical Writing: Ability to produce clear technical documentation, including system designs, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Systems Management: Proficiency in managing Microsoft Server environments and SQL databases.
- Certifications (Preferred): Relevant certifications (Cisco, VMware, Nutanix, Veeam, CISSP, CEH) in network management, virtualization, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity.
- Leadership & Project Management: Proven ability to lead infrastructure projects, managing scope, budgets, and timelines.
