Jawatan:
1. HEAD (COMMERCIAL & CONTRACT MANAGEMENT)
JABATAN ASSET OPERATION
Requirements:
- Malaysian citizenship
- Required languages: Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Minimum 15 years of working experience, including 5 years in Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) operationalization and contract management.
- Familiar with various plant Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) under TNB Genco, generating licenses, and their service delivery requirements
- Strong understanding of various internal Operation & Maintenance Agreements (OMA)
- Familiar with relevant acts, regulations, and codes regarding power plant operation and maintenance activities
- Experience in project development, such as project finance for greenfield power projects or mergers and acquisitions (M&A) of brownfield assets
- Extensive experience in facilitating and overseeing dispute resolution procedures
- Experience dealing with the Grid System Operator, Single Buyer, and Energy Commission regarding PPA requirements and plant commercial aspects is an advantage
Accountability & Responsibility:
a) Commercial & Contract
- Lead the overall development, negotiation and management of PPA/SLA and project documents such as Gas Supply Agreement (GSA), Operation & Maintenance Agreement, Water Royalty Agreement, Land Lease Agreement, Supplemental Agreement, Interim PPA for redevelopment project etc.
- Ensure the operation and performance of TNB Genco power plants in accordance with all applicable acts, regulations, codes and signed and executed PPA/SLA.
- Lead negotiation for commercial dispute, commercial claim, and arbitration process with relevant parties such as Grid System Operator, Single Buyer and Energy Commission.
- Lead team in power purchase agreement drafting and negotiation for new development projects and extension of existing PPA to mitigate potential risks and addresses challenges faced by existing plants.
- Monitor, evaluate and analyze new / revised legislations that have commercial impact to the plant operation and advice TNB Genco Management way forward as well as proactively mitigate any gaps.
- Provide advisory role, analysis, and evaluation of compliance to be distributed to power stations / related units for implementation and ensure total compliance to respective plant generating license requirements.
- Oversee the effectiveness of Operation & Maintenance Agreement (OMA) implementation such as TOMA, ROMA, MOMA etc. and take risk mitigation for continuous improvement.
- Establish, maintain, and review new internal agreement to ensure smooth operation and maintenance activities between TNB REMACO and other SPV’s.
- Spearhead a team responsible for the decennial review and management of state chargers or agreements for hydro plants, encompassing all associated matters.
