1. LOGISTICS COORDINATOR
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Logistics Coordinator's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Prepare yearly shipping activities, working closely and maintaining regular communications with internal departments for major events and competitions.
- Prepare proper shipping documentation, review shipping commercial invoices and packing lists, and ensure all accuracy of all information.
- Perform end-to-end shipping process, including coordinating with the express courier, air/ocean freight and air cargo vendors, customs brokers, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor, track, and record the status of all outgoing shipments, shipping expenses, and monitoring shipping vendors' service agreement validity and renewal.
- Request for quotations to obtain most cost-effective shipment methods.
- Stay up-to-date with shipping destination customs requirements for import and export by regularly communicating with shipping service providers.
- Quickly and efficiently resolve any issues that arise during the shipping process, including delays, damaged goods, or lost shipments, and update the Head of Logistics and the Assistant Manager.
- Develop and implement shipping strategies in communication with the Head of Logistics and the Assistant Manager.
- Perform administrative and clerical work for the Department, such as receiving and checking vendor's invoices for accuracy and payment, following up on payment processing, and updating the Department database with logistical data.
- Provide support to any event, projects, and activities for tactical and operational smoothness.

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) is the governing body of Asian football and one of the six Confederations making up FIFA. Formed in 1954 in Manila on the sidelines of the second Asian Games, the AFC was sanctioned by FIFA in Berne, Switzerland on June 21 of that year. The AFC is now headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and consists of 46 Member Associations and one Associate Member Association (The Northern Mariana Islands). Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa of Bahrain is the AFC President.
